Ordering Information

How to Order

  1. Select your items

    Find the items that you wish to purchase and enter the quantity. Click Add to Cart.

    Tip: You can also find your items by searching for the product in our "Quick Search" field.

    In the top right corner of your browser you will see the shopping cart's ITEMS and SUBTOTAL amounts increase each time you add a product.

  2. Shopping Bag or Checkout

    In the top right corner of your browser, you can click on either SHOPPING BAG or CHECKOUT which will bring you to your Shopping Cart page. This page will give you more detailed information about your cart.

    The PROMOTION CODE or SOURCE CODE that is located at the bottom of this page coincides with either the promotion offered to you in a promotional email you may occasionally receive from us or the Source Code located on the back of your Yankee Candle catalog. Once you input the offer or click on the offer from a promotional email, the offer that is extended to you will then appear on the bottom of the Shopping Cart page.

    On the bottom of this page you have the option to continue shopping or to checkout.

  3. Checkout and Verify Order

    When you click on the CHECKOUT button, you will be asked to enter your shipping, billing, and payment information. You will then be asked to review your order.

    To complete your order, click on the SUBMIT ORDER button.

  4. Submit Order

    Once you've clicked on the SUBMIT ORDER button, you will be brought to a confirmation page that will give you your order number and the option to print out your order.

Multiple Ship to's

Use our multiple ship-to capability to send gifts to different addresses, whether you're sending the same gift to everybody, or different gifts to each address along with a little something for yourself -- all within a single checkout! To add a new recipient, click on the "Add New" link in the "Send To" dropdown in he shopping cart page. Once you add in your new recipient(s), we will ask for the recipient's full name and address during checkout.

Gift Tags

Enclose a gift tag expressing your own personal message with any or all of your orders. Simply check the Gift Tag box in your shopping cart and type in your message. Your special thoughts will be sent with your gift directly to its recipient.

Express Checkout

If you’re logged into your Yankee Candle account, you can take advantage of Express Checkout. It automatically enters your shipping, billing, and payment information saved in your account, but lets you edit it before processing an order. Here's how it works:

  • Once you’re ready to checkout, the Express Checkout button appears on the Shopping Bag below your item(s).
  • If you select Express Checkout you will be taken to the final “Review and Submit Order” page. There you can review and edit shipping information and payment method.
  • When you determine all the information is exactly as you want it, select the “Submit Order” button and your order is processed.

Gift Cards

What are Gift Cards?

Gift cards are pre-paid cash or virtual cards that can be purchased and redeemed online at Yankeecandle.com, over the phone through catalog sales (1-877-803-6890) or in any one of our Yankee Candle retail store locations. (E-Gift Cards can be purchased online only.) To locate a store near you, please visit our Store Locator.

We offer two convenient ways to send a Gift Card:

  1. Order a Classic Gift Card (physical, plastic card) which we'll mail to your recipient with free shipping
  2. Email an E-Gift Card (virtual card) to your recipient within 2 hours of ordering.

Important Information about Gift Cards:

  • Classic Gift Cards can be purchased in denominations of $10, $20, $50, $100, and $200. E-Gift Cards can be purchased in denominations of $10, $20, and $25.
  • Classic Gift Cards arrive activated and ready to use.
  • Classic Gift Cards can be reloaded through catalog sales (1-877-803-6890) or through our retail stores, in the denominations listed above.
  • Classic and E- Gift Cards are in US dollars and are considered the same as cash. They cannot be replaced if lost or stolen.
  • Classic and E-Gift Cards are not returnable or redeemable for cash except as otherwise required by law.
  • Classic and E-Gift Cards will automatically close when the balance reaches zero.
  • Any unused balance will be placed in recipient's Gift Card account.
  • When ordering on-line, a credit card will be required to pay for any excess balance on orders not covered in full by the Gift Card.
  • Two Gift Cards can be redeemed at one time on-line as part of the same order.

How do I purchase a Classic Gift Card?

To purchase a Classic Gift Card, please visit us online or call our catalog sales department at 1-800-243-1776. The cards will arrive in approximately 5 to 7 business days via FedEx.

How do I redeem my Classic Gift Card?

In-Store: Simply hand the card to the Associate at checkout. Whatever balance is available on the gift card will be applied to your purchase. Proceed to check out. Once on the "Bill To" page in the Order Process you will be prompted to enter your Gift Card and Access number. If the total cost of your order exceeds the available balance on your Card, you will need to enter a credit card to cover the difference.

Gift Card Back

Gift Cards are debited at the time you place your order. Should your order be cancelled, a new Gift Card will be issued (if the full amount was used). If you have any questions about purchasing or redeeming a Gift Card, please email customer service.

How do I purchase an E-Gift Card?

To purchase an E-Gift Card, please visit us online or call our catalog sales department at 1-800-243-1776. The E-Gift Card will be delivered via email to your recipient within 2 hours of ordering.

E-Gift Cards

The fastest way to send a gift! Choose from six designs with images and messaging appropriate to many gifting occasions and customize it with your own message. You can make it unique and truly personal.

Send it via email (usually delivered in just minutes), or you can select a specific delivery date in the future—up to 12 months out. Each version provides the Gift Card number and PIN Code to redeem the card.

You can enter a preferred amount for your e-gift card or select denominations of $10, $25, $50, $75, $100 or $250. You can add multiple e-gift cards to your shopping bag, up to a maximum bag total of $500.

Sales Tax

We are required by law to collect sales tax for deliveries to all states in which we have a company-owned retail store. We will automatically calculate the tax rate according to the shipping address. To see if there are stores in the state that you are shipping to please go to the Store Locator.

International Shipping

Promotion Codes

Promotion codes are redeemed during the checkout process. Once you view your cart, this field will become available and a message will appear describing the promotion that you have entered. Your promotional discount will be factored into your final order upon checkout and will be reflected in your order summary.
